Qualified Teaching Assistant
Location: Newcastle
AK Teaching seeks dedicated and enthusiastic Qualified Teaching Assistants to join our dynamic team in Newcastle. As a key member of our school community, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our students.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with teachers to provide classroom support and assistance.
Support students’ educational and social development on an individual and small group basis.
Assist in the planning and preparation of engaging learning activities.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and behaviour
Qualifications:
Minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
Relevant experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and parents.
Knowledge of and commitment to promoting safeguarding and the welfare of children.
Skills and Attributes:

Flexibility and adaptability in responding to the needs of the students and the school.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask.
