AK Teaching, a leading education recruitment agency, is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant school community in the NE6 area. Key Responsibilities:

Provide support to KS1 students in their academic and personal development.
Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Offer one-to-one support to students who require additional assistance.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the overall success of the classroom and school
community.

Requirements:

Ideally holds either a Level 2 or 3 relevant qualification, such as – Childcare, Teaching Assistant, or Supporting Teaching and Learning.
Previous experience working with KS1 students is advantageous.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Passionate about education and supporting student progress.
Must be available to work Monday through Friday (No Weekends).

Additional Requirements:

Must hold a current DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one through AK Teaching.
