AK Teaching, a leading education recruitment agency, is currently seeking dedicated and passionate KS1 & KS2 Teaching Assistants in both the NE4 & NE5 areas. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are committed to supporting the educational development of young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide support to KS1 & KS2 students in their academic and personal development.
2. Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
3. Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
4. Offer one-to-one support to students who require additional assistance.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the overall success of the classroom and school community.

Requirements:

1. Ideally holds either Level 2 or 3 relevant qualifications, such as – Childcare, Teaching Assistant, or Supporting Teaching and Learning.
2. Previous experience working with KS1 or KS2 students is advantageous.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
5. Passionate about education and supporting student progress.
6. Must be available to work Monday through Friday (No Weekends).

Additional Requirements:

Must hold a current DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one through AK Teaching.
