Position Details:
Job Title: KS1 Teaching Assistant
Working Days: Monday to Friday (No weekends)
Location: NE4 Area, Newcastle Upon Tyne
Responsibilities:
– Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons tailored to the needs of KS1 students.
– Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional assistance.
– Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
– Assist with classroom management and behaviour support.
– Support students during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Requirements:
– A current DBS check or willingness to apply for one through AK Teaching.
– Ideally, relevant qualifications in education or child development.
– Passionate about working with children and supporting their educational journey.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
