Job Description:
AK Teaching is currently seeking a dedicated Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic educational setting in NE4. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the learning and development of young children in their formative years.
Key Responsibilities:
– Assisting the EYFS teacher in implementing engaging and stimulating activities that support children’s learning and development.
– Providing one-on-one support to children who require additional assistance.
– Creating a nurturing and supportive environment conducive to children’s growth and development.
– Assisting with the planning and preparation of learning materials and resources.
– Collaborating effectively with colleagues and parents to ensure the holistic development of each child.
Requirements:
– Must have a current DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one through AK Teaching.
– Ideally holds a minimum of Level 2 Qualification (Teaching Assistant, Supporting Teaching & Learning, or Childcare)
– Previous experience working with young children is advantageous.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– A passion for working with children and supporting their educational journey.
