Job Title: KS1 Teaching Assistant
Location: NE5 Area, Newcastle upon Tyne
Working Days: Monday to Friday (No Weekends)
AK Teaching, a leading education recruitment agency, is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a KS1 Teaching Assistant in the NE5 area of Newcastle upon Tyne. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students and teachers within educational settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide support to teachers in delivering effective lessons.
Assist with classroom management and student supervision.
Work with individual students or small groups to provide additional academic support in KS1.
Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to meet the needs of students.
Requirements:
Previous experience working in an educational/KS1 setting is preferred but not essential.
Must hold a current Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) or be willing to apply for one through AK Teaching.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of students.
