AK Teaching is a leading education recruitment agency committed to connecting talented educators with rewarding opportunities. We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant educational setting in the NE15 area.
Responsibilities:
Support the class teacher in creating a stimulating and nurturing learning environment for Early Years students.
Assist with the implementation of the EYFS curriculum, ensuring activities are age-appropriate and engaging.
Provide one-on-one support to students as needed, addressing individual learning needs.
Collaborate with the teaching team to maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Support in the planning and organization of educational activities, both inside and outside the classroom.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in an Early Years setting is highly desirable.
A genuine passion for working with young children and contributing to their educational development.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
Must have a current DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one through AK Teaching.
Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are advantageous.
Working Hours:
Monday until Friday (No Weekends)
