Position Overview:
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational development of a specific student. Your responsibilities will include providing tailored assistance to address the individual needs of the student, fostering a positive learning environment, and collaborating with the classroom teacher to enhance the overall educational experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with the assigned student to provide one-on-one support in various subjects and activities.
Implement and adapt lesson plans to accommodate the student’s learning styles and needs.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Collaborate effectively with the classroom teacher and other support staff.
Monitor and report on the student’s progress to the relevant stakeholders.
Assist with the implementation of behaviour management strategies.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is essential.
Must currently hold a valid DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one through AK Teaching.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt to the diverse needs of students.
Working Hours:
Monday until Friday (No weekends)
