AK Teaching is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team in the NE12 area.
Responsibilities:
Classroom Support: Assist the teacher in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment, offering support to students with various learning needs.
One-on-One Assistance: Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional help, ensuring their understanding of the curriculum.
Behavioural Support: Assist in managing and maintaining classroom behaviour and discipline, promoting a respectful and nurturing atmosphere.
Safeguarding: Contribute to the safety and well-being of students, adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Willing to work in the NE12 area
Minimum of an accredited Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant certificate (Or equivalent)
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a related educational role is preferred.
A genuine passion for working with students and promoting their academic and personal growth.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
