AK Teaching, a leading education recruitment company, is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our team in the NE6 area. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to work closely with students and support their educational journey.
Working Days: Monday until Friday (No Weekends)
Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one support to students, assisting with their educational and personal development.
Collaborate effectively with teachers and other staff to create a supportive learning environment.
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents/guardians.
Promote positive behaviour and encourage student engagement in learning activities.
Requirements:
Hold a current DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one through AK Teaching.
Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational setting is desirable.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
