AK Teaching, a leading education recruitment agency, is currently seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic team in the NE29 area. Position: 1:1 Teaching Assistant
Location: NE29 Area
Working Hours: Monday until Friday (No weekends)

Responsibilities:

• Provide dedicated support to an individual student in a one-on-one setting.
• Assist with the implementation of tailored learning plans to meet the specific needs of the student.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and other staff to ensure a cohesive approach to student development.
• Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the teaching team.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A genuine passion for supporting students in their educational journey.

Must-Have:
Must currently hold a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one through AK Teaching.
