Primary Teaching Assistant – Afternoon Session

Working Hours: 12:30 pm – 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday

AK Teaching is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to join our team in North Tyneside. This role involves providing support during school hours and actively participating in our after-school club.

Responsibilities:

Assist primary school students in various subjects and activities.

Support the teacher in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Supervise and engage with students during the after-school club.

Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of educational and extracurricular activities.

Working Hours:

The successful candidate will be required to work from 12:30 pm until 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday. The role involves teaching assistance until the end of the school day, followed by active involvement in the after-school club.

Requirements:

All candidates must hold a current DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one with AK Teaching.

Relevant experience in a teaching assistant role is preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively within a team.
