Job Description:
We seek a dedicated and nurturing Nursery Nurse to join our team in providing exceptional care and education to our youngest learners. The successful candidate will work closely with the teaching staff to create a stimulating and safe learning environment for children aged 3-4. The role involves supporting children’s learning and development, assisting in the planning and preparation of activities, and ensuring a high standard of care is maintained at all times.
Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 3-4.
Foster a positive and supportive learning environment.
Assist in the planning and implementation of daily activities.
Promote the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children.
Collaborate with the team to ensure the nursery adheres to all safeguarding and health and safety procedures.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, regularly updating their child’s progress.
Requirements:
A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
Prior experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
A passion for working with young children and a nurturing approach.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
An understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
