General Teaching Assistant Position at AK Teaching, North Tyneside
AK Teaching, a leading education provider in Newcastle, North Tyneside & Northumberland, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic General Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team at a reputable local primary school.
Role and Responsibilities:
Provide general classroom support to the teaching staff and students.
Assist in the preparation and organisation of classroom activities.
Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
Support the maintenance of a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Collaborate with teachers to ensure effective delivery of the curriculum.
Requirements:
Willing to work in the North Tyneside area
Minimum of Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
Relevant experience working in an educational setting, preferably within a primary school.
Passion for supporting the educational and social development of young learners.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting the needs of the classroom.
An understanding of safeguarding principles in an educational environment.
