Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEND, assisting them in overcoming behavioural challenges and achieving their learning goals.
Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to implement individualized behaviour plans and interventions.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the social, emotional, and academic development of students.
Document and report on student progress, behaviour incidents, and any concerns to the appropriate staff members.
Requirements:
Possess an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one through AK Teaching.
Previous experience working in a school or educational setting, particularly with students with SEND, is highly advantageous.
Strong communication, empathy, and behaviour management skills are essential for success in this role.
