AK Teaching is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Unqualified Teaching Assistants to join our team for a provision based in Blyth. As a teaching assistant, you will be working closely with primary aged learners with SEND, providing vital support to help them reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting the class teacher in implementing individual education plans for students with SEND.
Providing one-on-one support to students as needed, both inside and outside the classroom.
Creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Collaborating with other staff members and professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students with SEND.
Assisting with classroom activities, including preparing materials and resources.
Requirements:
DBS on the update service or willingness to apply and pay for one through AK Teaching.
Flexibility and willingness to work with a range of ages, although primary aged learners will be the primary focus.
Prior experience in a school-based setting is highly beneficial.
Passion for working with children with SEND and helping them achieve their potential.
