AK Teaching, a leading education agency, is currently recruiting for a Special Needs Teaching Assistant (Unqualified) to join a primary SEND school in Blyth. This rewarding role involves providing invaluable support to primary-aged learners with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with ASD and ADHD.
  • Support students in developing social, emotional, and academic skills.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to deliver tailored support.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working in a similar setting is highly beneficial.
  • An enhanced DBS check on the update service is required, or applicants must be willing to apply for one through AK Teaching.
  • Passionate about supporting children with special needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday (no weekends)
