AK Teaching, a leading education recruitment agency, is currently seeking Special Needs Teaching Assistants for placements in a reputable school located in Blyth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with a wide range of special needs.
  • Assist classroom teachers in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and differentiated instruction.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student growth and development.

Requirements:

  • Openness to working with a diverse range of ages and needs as required by the school.
  • Prior experience working in an SEND school or similar setting is highly beneficial.
  • An enhanced DBS check on the update service is required, or applicants must be willing to apply for one through AK Teaching.
