SEND Teaching Assistant

Requirements:

• Experience: Prior experience in an SEND setting is highly beneficial, showcasing your ability to work effectively with students of varying ages and diverse needs.
• Confidence: Applicants should be confident and compassionate, demonstrating empathy, patience, and adaptability when working with students with ASD, ADHD, PMLD, and other SEND requirements.
• Certification: Holding a Level 2/3 qualification in supporting teaching and learning or childcare is encouraged, highlighting your commitment to providing exceptional support and care to students.

• DBS Clearance: All applicants must have a DBS on the update service. If you don’t have an updated DBS, AK Teaching can support you in obtaining one.
