Job Opportunity: 1:1 Teaching Assistant (NE24)

AK Teaching, a leading education recruitment agency, is thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant in the NE24 area.

Working Days: Monday to Friday (No Weekends)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one support to students in a classroom setting.
• Collaborate with the classroom teacher to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Foster a supportive and nurturing relationship with the assigned student.
• Help with classroom management and behaviour support.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
• A genuine passion for working with students and supporting their educational journey.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to the individual needs of the student.
• Must hold a current DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one through AK Teaching.
