Qualified Primary Teaching Assistant – Blaydon (NE21)
AK Teaching is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Primary Teaching Assistant to join our team in a reputable primary school situated in the vibrant community of Blaydon (NE21). This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is committed to making a positive impact on the educational journey of young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the classroom teacher in delivering high-quality and engaging educational activities.
Provide one-on-one assistance to students who require additional support, ensuring their individual learning needs are met.
Assist in the preparation of learning materials and resources, fostering an interactive and stimulating learning environment.
Help to maintain a safe and inclusive atmosphere conducive to effective learning and development.
Collaborate with the teaching staff and contribute to the planning and implementation of educational strategies.
Requirements:
Willing to work in the Blaydon area (NE21)
Relevant qualification in Education or related field (Teaching Assistant/Support Teaching & Learning/Childcare/Etc).
Previous experience working in a primary school setting is highly desirable.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with students and colleagues.
A genuine passion for education and a commitment to nurturing the academic and personal growth of young learners.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team and contribute to a positive school environment.
All applicants must currently hold a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one with AK Teaching.
