AK Teaching, a reputable education recruitment agency, is currently seeking dedicated Unqualified Teaching Assistants to contribute to the success of an SEND school in North Tyneside.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide invaluable support to students with SEND, ensuring their individual needs are met.
  • Collaborate with qualified teachers to implement and adapt educational plans.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere within the classroom.
  • Assist students of various ages, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability as required.

Requirements:

  • An enhanced DBS on the update service is mandatory, or applicants must be willing to apply for one through AK Teaching.
  • Prior experience working with students with SEND is essential.
  • Comfortable working with a range of ages based on the school’s needs.
  • A Level 2/3 supporting teaching and learning or childcare qualification is desirable.
