Role Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join the team. The successful candidate will work closely with students, teachers, and support staff to deliver tailored speech and language therapy interventions. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children’s communication skills, confidence, and overall learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and develop individual therapy plans for students with a range of speech, language, and communication needs.
  • Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions in collaboration with the teaching staff.
  • Monitor and review progress, adapting interventions as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to provide advice, support, and training.
  • Contribute to the development of communication-friendly learning environments.

Person Specification:

  • Qualifications: A recognized qualification in Speech and Language Therapy and HCPC registration.
  • Experience: Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational or SEND setting.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Desirable: Team Teach training is advantageous but not essential.
  • Requirements: Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply).
