Responsibilities:
Support the class teacher in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment conducive to learning.
Assist in the implementation of tailored educational plans and activities, catering to the diverse needs of students.
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, ensuring their comprehension and engagement with the curriculum.
Foster a positive and respectful relationship with students and colleagues, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
Contribute to the overall well-being and pastoral care of students, promoting a culture of inclusivity and diversity.
Requirements:
Relevant experience or qualifications in education or childcare (CACHE Level 2 or 3, or equivalent).
A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their educational development.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
A patient and empathetic approach towards supporting students with varying learning abilities and needs.
Proactive and adaptable, with a willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
