Job Description:

As a KS1 Primary Supply Teacher, you will have the exciting opportunity to work in a variety of primary schools across Newcastle. Your role will involve covering planned and unplanned teacher absences, delivering engaging lessons, and maintaining a positive learning environment. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in different school settings while enjoying the flexibility that supply teaching offers.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver pre-prepared lessons to KS1 students in a range of subjects.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Manage the classroom effectively and ensure students’ safety and well-being.
Adapt to different school environments and follow school policies and procedures.
Provide constructive feedback and support to students as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching in a primary school, with a focus on KS1.
Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and teaching methods.
Excellent classroom management skills.
Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school settings.
