Position: Early Career Teacher (ECT)
Working Days: Monday through Friday (No Weekends)
Location: Various schools across County Durham
Job Type: Contract/Temporary
Requirements:
– Must hold a current DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one through AK Teaching
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
– Passion for teaching and supporting students’ learning and development
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and engage with parents/carers
Responsibilities:
– Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students
– Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and supported
– Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey
– Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
– Communicate effectively with parents/carers regarding students’ progress and well-being
