Behaviour Support Assistant (SEMH)

AK Teaching is seeking dedicated Behaviour Support Assistants to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of students at an SEMH school in Cramlington.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs
  • Assist in implementing behaviour management strategies
  • Foster a positive learning environment
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to create engaging activities
  • Monitor and track student progress

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in behaviour management, preferably in a similar educational setting
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through AK Teaching
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Flexible and adaptable approach
