Yr1/2 Teaching Assistant – Leeds

This is a teaching assistant opportunity based in the Rothwell, LS26, area supporting years 1 and 2 in a school that takes pride in the happy atmosphere they provide. The ‘Good’ Ofsted rated school strive to maintain high-quality teaching and learning environments for all children whilst strongly supporting their staff. We consistently receive positive feedback regarding the school from regular working educators.

In this long-term role, you will be responsible for supporting the preparation and organisation of lesson resources, helping engage pupils in their studies whilst also providing classroom and pupil support. You will be expected to be able to flex between both years 1 and 2 with the differences of challenging or distressed behaviour you may come across. In addition to this the rate of pay will be between £82.50 and £87.50 per day depending on your level of experience.
