At AK Teaching, we are working with a fantastic Leeds Primary School to find an enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher to cover a maternity leave from September 2024.
Responsibilities
As a Year 3 Teacher, you will:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all students.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student well-being and learning.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
Develop and implement creative and effective teaching strategies.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and learning.
Participate in school events and activities, contributing to the wider school community.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and development.
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 is desirable.
Strong classroom management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of students.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A passion for teaching and a commitment to continuous professional development.
