AK Teaching are currently seeking experienced Teaching Assistants to join one of our partnered SEND schools located in the Northumberland area. We have immediate part-time and full-time positions available, and for the right candidate, a permanent role will also be available.
The school caters to children with complex social, emotional, and mental health needs, many of whom also have severe learning and communication difficulties. As a Teaching Assistant in this setting, your role goes beyond creating an engaging and creative learning environment. You will be working with children who may struggle to engage in formal education due to their individual challenges.
