We are looking for a teaching assistant to work within one of our SEND schools in North Tyneside.

The students you will be working with will have special educational needs such as autism and severe learning difficulties so you must be resilient but approachable.

A candidate with an outgoing personality would be perfect for this role!

Previous SEN experience would be preferred, however this is not essential if you have a passion to making a difference to the lives of learners with additional needs.

You will work between the hours of 8:30am-4:30pm Monday to Friday.

This is the perfect role for anyone wanting to start their career in education.

We would like to hear from you if:

  • You hold a teaching assistant or health and social care qualification or equivalent
  • You have a DBS on the update service or are prepared to undertake the relevant checks
  • You have experience with children or young adults
  • You have experience teaching or supporting in a school environment (preffered but not desired)

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
