AK Teaching are looking for candidates to work within our SEND provisions in Sunderland and surrounding areas.
You will be working Monday – Friday between the hours of 8:30am-4:00pm, no weekends and school holidays off!
You will be working on either a 1:1 basis or within groups, assisting children and young adults with various SEN needs such as Autism, ADHD and challenging behaviour.
Qualifications are desirable but not essential as within this role, it is primarily about building a positive relationship with the students and having an engaging personality. We welcome anyone from a care background or support workers as personal care is sometimes required within our schools.
Ideally you will have a DBS on the update service or one issued within the last year. If your DBS is not on the update service, you will need to apply for a new one.
