AK Teaching are looking to recruit Graduates or current students who are open to the opportunity to work within Sunderland Secondary schools as a Cover Supervisor.
The role would be ideal for someone who interested in a career in education but wants to learn more about what a teaching role entails and to gain invaluable experience for their future.
JOB ROLE
As a Cover supervisor, the successful applicant will; monitor progress, encourage a positive learning environment and enable pupils to enjoy learning, even when it’s difficult. The successful applicant will have the ability to monitor pupils, be committed, hardworking, resilient and a strong team player. The role will involve managing classrooms & ensuring that students remain on task with the work they have been set.
CANDIDATE
– Experience working with young people.
– A positive approach to supporting students.
– A passion for education and helping young student reach their potential.
All applicants must have a DBS on the update service or be willing to undergo relevant DBS checks.
