AK Teaching are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and pro-active Teaching Assistant to work in one of our partner schools based in Darlington, Bishop Auckland or Durham. This role would involve supporting a child on a 1:1 basis who has additional needs but also involves general TA work, working alongside the class teacher. This role is set to start in September on a temporary to perm basis.
JOB ROLE
Key Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant:
Prepare and develop resources if necessary
Working with groups of children or working with pupils on a 1:1 basis
Supporting these pupils with the full National Curriculum to all ranges
Supporting the class teacher across the whole class when required
Being both flexible and adaptable
JOB CANDIDATE
Ideally be Level 2 TA qualification or above
Have knowledge or experience working with children with SEN
Mainly looking for an individual with a caring nature
A valid DBS on the update service (Can apply if needed)
