Responsibilities
As a KS2 Teaching Assistant with a focus on SEND, you will:
Provide tailored support to children with SEND, helping them to achieve their full potential.
Work closely with the class teacher to deliver differentiated lessons and activities.
Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
Support students with personal care, if required.
Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
Assist with classroom management and organisation.
Requirements
Previous experience working with children with SEND is essential.
A compassionate and patient approach, with a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of students.
