At AK Teaching, we are seeking a passionate and dedicated KS2 Teacher to join a Primary School in Leeds this September. This full-time position is currently fixed term until August 2025, with the potential for extension. We welcome applications from both ECT’s and experienced educators.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all students in KS2.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting appropriate targets.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love of learning.
Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain a safe and orderly classroom.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to share resources, ideas and best practices.
Contribute to the wider school community through involvement in extracurricular activities and events.
Take on subject leadership responsibilities, if appropriate, to drive curriculum development and innovation.
Uphold the school’s commitment to safeguarding by promoting the welfare of students and adhering to all safeguarding policies and procedures.
