AK Teaching are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and pro-active Teaching Assistant to work in one of our partner schools based in Peterlee. This position has a September start and is expected to continue to the end of the next Academic Year.
JOB ROLE
Key Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant:
Working with groups of children or working with pupils on a 1-2-1 basis
Supporting these pupils with the full National Curriculum to all ranges
Working with children who have additional SEND needs
Supporting the class teacher across the whole class when required
JOB CANDIDATE
Ideally be Level 2 TA qualification or above
Have knowledge or experience working with children with SEN
Mainly looking for an individual with a caring nature
