KS1 Teacher – NE4 – September Start

One of AK Teaching’s partnership schools in the west end of Newcastle are actively recruiting for an experienced Teacher to hit the ground running throughout their KS1 provision. The role is to cover a maternity and ECT’s are invited to apply. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate behaviour management skills and will have previous experience managing a class which includes SEN learners, as well as a track record of using the Read, Write, Inc Phonics scheme. The school promotes inclusivity and diversity and understands the importance of professional staff development, fully aware of the positive impact this can have on overall learner performance in the long term.

We are looking for a Teacher who:

• Has experience of teaching in a Primary Education based setting.
• Is a good to outstanding classroom practitioner.
• Has experience of teaching a range of abilities including SEND.
• Has a good knowledge of RWI.
• Can imaginatively adapt and deliver the curriculum to our children.
• Has a commitment to developing a creative curriculum to enthuse and motivate learners.
• Is passionate about creating a stimulating learning environment where children can grow and flourish.

You must have:

• A Valid Teaching Qualification.
• Experience working in schools or educational settings.
• An ability to work confidently with children, with a professional approach.
• Eligibility to work in the UK (Two references, including your current or most recent employer).
