KS1/2 Teacher (Part time) BD5

We are looking for a Primary Supply Teacher to work on a flexible part time basis in the Bradford area.

AK Teaching work with a variety of schools across the Bradford area, particularly in BD5, meaning we consistently have day to day teaching cover work for our regular working candidates. If you have specific days in mind that you would prefer to work and not to work, we can prioritise you for those, ensuring you are at the top of the list with any available roles relevant to your skills and experience.

The job role itself provides a vital service to schools during times of need, offering cover in the absence of permanently employed teachers across all Key Stages. This role will consist of delivering the National Curriculum, working collaboratively and creatively with other members of staff, helping engage the children in their learning whilst also providing classroom and pupil support. Working with a range of years also results in being a confident character in behaviour management and potential challenging behaviour. As well as this you will be earning between £143.59 and £208.33 per day.

The ideal candidate will have/be:

• The right to work in the UK
• Relevant experience working in UK Primary schools.
• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• A desire to motivate and inspire primary age pupils with their studies.
• A high level of classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Be ultimately flexible with working days/hours, only resulting in more opportunities to work for yourself.
• Appropriate levels of Safeguarding knowledge and an understanding to the National Curriculum.
• Enhanced DBS check.
