I am currently working on behalf of a secondary school based in the Leeds LS9 area to recruit a Teacher of Food Technology to start as soon as possible due to a last minute change in personnel. This role consists of teaching Food technology KS3-4 with planning and marking. The role will be 31 hours and to make a full schedule a small portion of general cover classes will be needed to complete the full timetable.

The role is full time and will run for the rest of the academic year and in to next academic year starting Sept 2023. The school will be looking to secure the teacher on a permanent contact as soon as it suits both parties. The role would suit both qualified and Early Career teachers of Food Technology. Experience is beneficial but at this time we are looking for the right fit so ECT’s are very welcome to apply.

The successful candidate will:

 • Teach Food Technology across key stages 3 & 4

 • Undertake full teaching responsibilities

 • Attend relevant CPD and school meetings

• Manage behaviour by following the school behaviour policy

The successful candidate will teach in a supportive school that truly value the hard work and dedication of staff. The SLT are firm believers in leading from the front and are very visible around the school promoting positive behaviour and the school ethos.
