Calling all current ECT’s and current PGCE Students

Start: November 2023

Contract: Flexi and Temp to perm options available

Area: Newcastle!

Our AK workforce partner schools are based in Newcastle, North Tyneside and Northumberland and together we are looking to recruit a high number of ECT’s who will be fully vetted/cleared and ready to interview ASAP.

Delaying the process could result in you missing many of the teaching roles that schools are currently advertising!

To be considered for this role, ideally you will:

·         Have UK QTS

·         Have flexible availability and be able to work within an ever-changing environment.

·         Have the ability to use public transport or have their own vehicle.

·         Experience leading and delivering planned work to a group of children aged 4+

·         The ability to manage challenging behaviour

·         A calm and punctual manner – excellent time-keeping

·         A fully enhanced DBS certificate on the DBS update service (can be applied for through AK Teaching)
