AK Teaching is seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our team in South Shields. This is a temporary position, with the view to start in September.
Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one support to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring they receive the necessary guidance and assistance.
Collaborate with the teaching staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students.
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers
Foster a positive and nurturing atmosphere that encourages students to engage actively in learning and development.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
Requirements:
A relevant educational background or experience in supporting students with diverse learning needs.
A compassionate and patient approach towards working with students, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students and teachers.
Ability to adapt to each student’s unique learning styles and requirements, ensuring their individual needs are met effectively.
