AK Teaching are looking for suitably qualified, enthusiastic and motivated candidates to join a small friendly team of experienced and highly professional staff. In the first instance, this role will be working in our preschool class, planning and managing the day to day activities of the preschool children.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging and age-appropriate lessons for EYFS students.
Assisting with the preparation and organization of learning materials and resources.
Helping to create a positive and stimulating learning environment that promotes children’s development and well-being.
Supporting children with their daily routines, such as toileting, dressing and feeding, where necessary.
Providing one-to-one or small group support to children who require additional assistance with their learning.
Recording and monitoring children’s progress and achievements, and contributing to the assessment and reporting process.
Building strong relationships with children, parents/carers and colleagues, and communicating effectively with them.
Attending relevant training and professional development sessions to improve your knowledge and skills.
Undertaking other duties as required by the school.

The requirements for this role are:
Preferably qualified to an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification
Experience working with children
Ability to develop positive relationships with students, parents and staff
Possess strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills
Understanding of classroom procedures and policies
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Registering with AK Teaching
All candidates will be required to hold or complete an Enhanced DBS Disclosure along with professional references and where appropriate overseas police checks in line with our Safeguarding policy.
