AK Teaching are supporting a local Primary School who are urgently needing a 1:1Teaching Assistant to start asap. The role is to start immediately until the end of the academic term. Your role will be to care for an KS1 pupil currently being peg fed, your role will not include anything to do with the pupils medical needs and is purely on a care giving basis. This position will be Monday- Friday, no weekends, 08.30am- 12.30pm.
Key Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant:
· Working with groups of children or working with pupils on a 1-2-1 basis
· Supporting these pupils with the full National Curriculum to all ranges
· Working with children who have additional SEND needs
· Supporting the class teacher across the whole class
· Ideally be Level 3 qualified or higher
· Have knowledge or experience working with children with SEN. Mainly looking for an individual with a caring nature
· Ideally Team Teach trained
