Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one or group support to students with SEND in a classroom setting.
Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral strategies.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to meet the diverse needs of students.
Offer emotional and social support to students when required.
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
Requirements:
Experience working with students with SEND is desirable but not essential.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students.
A willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic educational setting.
A clear and up-to-date DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
