• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM

Job Description:

As a Primary Teacher working on supply for AK Teaching at this SEN school in Morpeth, you will be a crucial part of a team dedicated to providing quality education and support to students with additional needs. Your role will involve designing and delivering tailored lessons to meet the unique requirements of each student, fostering a positive learning environment, and collaborating with teaching assistants to ensure student well-being and progress.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and personalised lessons to support students with diverse needs.
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where every student feels valued.
• Work closely with teaching assistants to provide one-on-one or small group support as needed.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods to accommodate individual needs.
• Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child’s progress.

Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience working with children with special educational needs is highly desirable.
• A patient and compassionate approach to teaching.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
