As a HLTA you will work closely with educators to provide care, guidance, and assistance to students, ensuring they reach their full potential in a bespoke Special needs environment. Working with EHCP and care plans for students you will be able to actively engage in the curriculum delivery alongside other classroom practitioners at the same time forging relationships with the students and maintaining the schools core values and mission statement.

Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with educators to support students with diverse learning needs.
– Assist in educating and communicating effectively with students to facilitate their academic progress.
– Implement specialized strategies for working with students requiring special education support.
– Foster a nurturing and patient atmosphere to enhance the learning experience for all students.
– Support the class teacher in delivering lessons, both individually and in group settings.
– Help create tailored lessons and activities that cater to individual student requirements.

Experience:
– Prior experience working with children, especially in educational settings, and leading a class or small group would be preferred.
– Ability to effectively communicate and adapt teaching methods based on individual student needs.
– Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a nurturing nature are essential for success in this role.
– Strong verbal communication skills are crucial for engaging with students and colleagues
