Learning Support Assistant - Newcastle Upon Tyne

AK Teaching are looking a Learning Support Assistant to work in one of our partner SEND provisions in the West End of Newcastle. The position will be to start from Easter half term until the end of the academic year.

The role will involve working closely with children who have a range of different additional needs supporting them with learning & personal needs.

The successful candidate will work school hours between 8.30am and 4.30pm and will get weekends and school holidays off.

The ideal candidate will have:
- A positive approach to supporting students
- Experience working 1:1
- Resilience and an ability to handle children with challenging behaviour

All applicants must have a DBS on the update service or be willing to undergo relevant DBS checks.
