Design Technology Teacher - Durham

AK Teaching are looking to recruit a Design Technology teacher to work with our partner schools in the Durham area with experience of working alongside students in KS3 4 & 5 and have a desire to help them progress in their education.

This school is looking for a Design Technology Teacher to start in September up to the February half-term and the successful candidate will get the opportunity to experience working with students in a variety of schools in the Durham area and help progress your career in teaching.

The successful Design Technology Teacher will have to have the following:
• QTS with a Design Technology specialism
• Experience teaching Design Technology up to KS5
• A real desire to make a positive difference to the students that you work with
• Be able to provide 2 professional references

As a Design Technology Teacher you will be expected to possess key skills such as:

• Communication
• Patience

The chosen candidate will be required to either possess or be willing to obtain and Enhanced DBS Certificate (support can be provided) and provide permission for AK Teaching to check for updates service registration.
