Are you a Teaching Assistant looking for work in schools in the Newcastle area? Perhaps you are hoping to start a career working with young people? If so, AK Teaching would love to hear from you.
Our partner schools in Newcastle require Teaching Assistants on a daily basis to provide support for both whole classes, as well as individuals with additional needs or who require extra one-to-one support.
As a Teaching Assistant you would be responsible for providing assistance to teaching staff to help them ensure all learners in the group receive the same opportunities to learn. This may be on an individual or small group basis.
AK Teaching have established strong working relationships with many primary, secondary and SEN schools in the Newcastle area and as such the daily demand for Teaching Assistants has grown significantly.
We need quality candidates to meet this need and in return offer a flexible method of working that would fit in with other commitments such as University or additional work obligations.
Working as a Teaching Assistant in schools with AK Teaching could give you the opportunity to sample working in several Newcastle schools and will not only allow you to gain invaluable experience, but also build the classroom management and networking links to help you begin the next step of your career.
You will also benefit from a range of free CPD opportunities to enhance your CV and skillset.
An ideal Teaching Assistant will be confident, caring and outgoing, with an ability to support children with a wide range of abilities and/or special needs. You must be committed to helping learners achieve their potential.
It is an ideal opportunity for those considering a career in teaching or for those who want to help young learners develop their potential without having to gain a teaching qualification.
Ideally you would possess a relevant qualification up to Level 2 as a minimum, but candidates with other relevant skills, qualifications or experience would also be considered.
You must have or be willing to apply for a DBS (ideally on the updates service) and full assistance can be provided to achieve this if needed.
If this sounds like the perfect opportunity to gain experience and a flexible income, or you feel you need more information feel free to call Chris on 0191 516 6327 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
